Universal detection of nucleic acids using RainbowTM primers and probes for digital PCR
With RainbowTM DNA detection probes, no more need to design and optimize a probe. It requires one of the oligonucleotides of a classic PCR primer pair to be modified (resulting in a RainbowTM primer) to be recognized by a RainbowTM probe during amplicon generation.
With 2 to 6 RainbowTM probes (depending on your digital PCR instrument), you can quantify any target. Ideally suited for applications that require many probes (e.g. (higher-order) multiplexing) or applications that only need small amounts of probes (e.g. pilot experiments, personalized assays).
